PR Structural Glazing was established by Robert Henry Pennick in 1999, following his extensive career in the commercial glazing industry. Utilizing his deep knowledge and experience, he focused on the installation of glass and aluminium Louvre, Brise Soleil, Motorized Solar Panelling, and Smoke Ventilators, which led to a fruitful partnership with Colt UK. 

In collaboration with Colt UK, PRSG aimed to diversify and expand its client base by targeting shopping centres in East Anglia. The strategy involved identifying commercial glass refurbishment opportunities while executing projects on behalf of Colt, thereby enhancing their portfolio of rooflight solutions.

1) Bristol Airport - While servicing the Colt ventilators, it was observed that the glazed pods over the Departures and Arrivals Lounge were in a poor state of repair, highlighting the need for effective commercial glass refurbishment.

2) A Shopping Centre in Thurrock in Essex - PRSG evaluated the Centre and found they had been let down by previous repair solutions regarding water ingress into the main atria, which failed to address the potential hazard for pedestrians below. This situation underscores the importance of reliable rooflight solutions in the glazing industry.

Over the years, PRSG has collaborated closely with Colt UK and their Service department, recognizing the opportunities generated by their sales team in offering glazing refurbishment alongside their servicing contracts.
